Earth Energies, Geopathic Stress and Agriculture - Dr Patrick MacManaway
How many of us say Grace or a word of thanks before we eat a meal these days? Dr Patrick MacManaway's talk on 9th September on earth energies, geopathic stress and agriculture gave compelling reasons why this custom, now usually forgotten, should be revived.
Dr MacManaway explained that there are subtle energies around us that are undetectable to the five human senses. Each of us has our own electromagnetic field, and our thoughts and intentions can affect other people and things even though we are unaware of it. So blessing food before we eat can improve its quality and render it more beneficial.
Ancient man was undoubtedly aware of these energies, and an aspect often overlooked by archaeologists and dowsers is that ancient sacred sites were erected by agricultural communities. Once ancient man settled down to clear land and begin farming in one place, these sacred sites were of great importance in improving crop yield.
Longstanding acquaintances and British Society of Dowsing members Peter Golding, Chairman of Slimbridge Dowsing Group, and Dr Patrick MacManaway, author and speaker, pose for the camera.

It has been demonstrated in America that seeds taken to a stone circle, in which energy is focused, had a better rate of germination and grew more uniformly than other seeds. Yield increased by a staggering 300%.
Crops planted over stress lines created by underground water can suffer a 40% decrease in yield. Fruit trees are particularly sensitive; vegetables such as lentils, beans and cucumber are also affected although tomatoes are not.
Winter wheat planted in Perthshire in an energetically enhanced field yielded an extra 0.5 tonnes per acre and certain varieties of potato had an increased yield of 30%.
So there is little doubt that earth energies and geopathic stress can affect us and the crops we grow, and blessing our food with a grace before we eat it will make us truly thankful.
