SLIMBRIDGE DOWSING GROUP REPORTS
Ancient wisdoms in a scientific world - The Matrix Reloaded - Joey Korn
When American dowser Joey Korn heard that his neighbour's well had run dry, he simply dowsed the area to find an underground stream nearby. Then, by hammering an iron stake into the ground as directed by his rods, and with intent, he diverted the new stream into the well, where it has been providing a good flow ever since.
That was all in a day’s work for Joey, who had some radical ideas to share during his talk, Dowsing and Healing, at the Slimbridge Dowsing Group meeting on Thursday afternoon, 19 April. While most dowsers are happy to discover water, archaeological ruins or health problems, Joey says, "I see the world as being full of subtle energies. Yes, the space around us is full of radio waves, microwaves, etc., but it is also full of energy lines related to us now and to people who were here before us. And those energy lines spread out in a matrix into the universe."
Joey Korn checks for positive and negative energies by muscle-testing
volunteers on a reproduction of the Tree of Life at a meeting of the
Slimbridge Dowsing Group.
Joey’s talk in Slimbridge village hall riveted his audience of 30, who were excited to hear that his dowsing results are substantiated not only by new scientific research and quantum physics, but also by ancient wisdoms such as the power of prayer and positive thinking.
We are aware that nature repeats its own patterns - notably spirals. Joey, whose father, Abram, was a Holocaust survivor, demonstrated that the people-patterns he is discovering through his dowsing, repeat the configuration of the Cabala, the Jewish Tree of Life. Even though the Cabala has ten emanations or vessels, and the Eastern chakras have only seven, they too match when superimposed upon each other.
Since the 1800s, experiments have shown that there is a proven matrix of energies that connects us with everything and everyone. Each of us leaves an imprint of our matrix wherever we go - in our homes, in our beds, even hotel beds and hospital beds.
"Energies can be positive and beneficial," explained Joey, "or they can be negative and detrimental." Consequently, they need re-balancing and Joey believes we can do this with the power of prayer to our own chosen Deity. Our instincts bear this out - for example, saying grace before a meal, saying "Bless . . . !" when someone irritates us, and even saying our prayers before we get into bed.
At the end of the meeting, after a lively question and answer session, many people in the audience were keen to buy a copy of Joey’s book, Dowsing: A Path to Enlightenment. And while members don’t expect to be able to divert underground streams just yet, we can all invoke the power of prayer.
